Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go Technology

The new 2018 F-150 has all the best of Ford's tech, including a cruise control unlike any other. This innovative sensor-based system detects the vehicle in front of you, and if that vehicle reduces speed, it automatically applies the brakes.

The Adaptive Cruise Control continually measures the pre-set gap distance to the vehicle in front of you. It can bring you down to a complete stop if the driver fails to hit the brakes in time –potentially helping you avoid or reduce the impact of a collision.

SYNC Connect

With the SYNC Connect features in the new 2018 F-150, you can remotely start the truck and its climate control system from your smartphone. To take it a step further, Ford includes a feature on the app which allows you to set up a remote start calendar, so you can be reminded to start your F-150 on a regular basis.

SYNC Connect also allows you to lock and unlock your 2018 F-150, and locate it with GPS. The location of your vehicle is automatically saved when the engine is turned off.

Drivers can also check the status of their new 2018 F-150, including fuel levels, approximate mileage, and miles until the next service is needed.

B&O PLAY Premium Audio System from HARMAN

The new 2018 F-150 is the first Ford to feature the new premium B&O PLAY Audio System, which features 10 speakers, radio, and a CD/MP3 player.

HARMAN and Ford engineers created a custom audio experience for the new 2018 F-150, thoughtfully placing the speakers, and calibrating them for the perfect sound quality.

Combined with the available SYNC 3 infotainment system, this audio system will become a feature you won't want to live without.

Windshield Wiper De-Icer

Great trucks have great features big and small. To round things out, we wanted to share one of the smaller features which makes a big impact on the driving experience for our customers here in Bismarck: The windshield wiper de-icer.

The new 2018 F-150 prevents ice and snow buildup on its wipers by heating the area where they rest below the windshield.

Activated with a button on the center stack, this handy feature keeps the wiper blades pliable in our North Dakotan winters, so they can contact the glass throughout their full arc across the windshield.
