It can be hard to keep up with a leader, and that's why Eide Ford is taking some time to show you everything you could possibly want to know about the new 2018 F-150 in Bismarck.
From the moment it rolled off of the semi truck here in Bismarck, we knew right away. The new 2018 F-150 didn't just raise the bar. It is the bar.
This post is part 1 of a 3-part series on the Eide Ford blog. To kick things off, we're starting at the outer layer, and taking a close look at what's new in the design and style of the new 2018 F-150.
The most immediately striking change on the new 2018 F-150 is the front grill, which varies by trim level. On this King Ranch, for example, the chrome bars now "bite" into the headlights, which are also redesigned with sharp details.
This more chiseled grill design hints at the power under the hood (which we'll cover in our next post).
Just around the corner, the new 2018 model features more prominent wheel arches, which are accentuated by a wheel lineup ranging from 17" to 22."
New rear-end styling on the 2018 F-150 shows all-new taillaps and tailgate trim. The King Ranch (shown here) has a full-width chrome bar emblazoned with the King Ranch logo.
The top of the new 2018 liftgate is engineered to function as a spoiler, enhancing the aerodynamics of the truck.
Four additional color options are available on the new 2018 F-150: Guard (green), Lead Food (green/gray with accents), Magma Red, and Stone Gray. All four options are shown above on an F-150 XLT.
The new 2018 F-150 comes in the same trim level options as 2017: XL, XLT, Lariat, Raptor, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.
The standard interior of the F-150 King Ranch has been updated to a new warm brown leather called Kingsville (shown above).
