Salesperson of the Month: Jason Bjorndahl

As North Dakota slowly opens back up, we’re celebrating the success of one of our own valued team members here in Bismarck.
Despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Jason Bjorndahl was able to help 30 people find cars at Eide Ford in May. For that reason, we’ve named him our Salesperson of the Month!
“Jason is a great guy to work with. He’s consistently getting great customer reviews,” said General Sales Manager Jesse Schuchard. “It’s tough to keep up great customer service – especially during these times, so it’s great that he’s been able to keep it up and help people out.”

Jason, who has also been recognized with the Employee of the Month Award at Eide Ford, answered some new questions for us!
Q: Like everyone, Eide Ford has been through a lot in the last few months, but yet you were able to still help a remarkable amount of people find new vehicles. How was May different from other months in 2020?
North Dakota does its own thing, and we followed our guidelines really well. We’ve been able to keep things safe and clean here in the store. We’ve social-distanced. We’ve gone through lots of hand sanitizer and we’ve been washing our hands very well. People still need cars here.
Other than the sanitary precautions, the only big change here at the store is that we’re not riding along for test drives – just to keep our customers as safe as possible.
Q: What advice do you have for people who are shopping for vehicles here in June?
We have always cared about the safety of our customers. If you want, you can call ahead and we can have any vehicle ready and sanitized ahead of time, so it’s ready when you come in. If you want to wear a mask, I’ll also wear a mask. We’re here to help you shop in a safe way on your terms.
Q: What new models have been the most popular lately?
We’re still rocking out a lot of new F-150s. It’s really a great truck. Eide Ford is still leading our area in new Super Duty trucks also. Ford has had to temporarily shut down the manufacturing plant for Super Duties, but we have more coming in. Expeditions have also been a popular choice lately.
Q: What kinds of used cars have been hot buys lately?
Everything. All of our used inventory is moving through quickly. We’re having trouble keeping inventory on the lot, but our team has been searching around and finding some great vehicles to sell. If you have your eye on one, make sure you check it out before it's gone.
Q: Who would you like to thank for this award?
I’d like to thank all of my managers. They really helped me put everything together in May. We couldn’t have done it without them. I’d also like to give a shout out to Stephanie Booker and Josh Bitz. They’ve been doing the behind-the-scenes work to get the vehicles fueled up and washed. They really do the things that help me keep things going here in the store.
Q: What are you looking forward to this summer?
I’m just hoping we can get back to normal soon!
