Bismarck-Mandan customers are interacting with a new face when they bring their vehicle in for service at Eide Ford. Meet Lee Wilson, a new service writer in our service department.
You may have seen his face in December 2018, when he was Employee of the Month, and he's likely worked on your vehicle before.
For the past year, Lee has been behind the counter as a parts technician. But thanks to his outgoing and personable attitude, he's recently received this promotion to service writer.
"The number one reason for this promotion is that he's really good with customers," says Ryan Else, service director. "He is a people-person who likes to help others."
Ryan adds that Lee's background as a parts technician, paired with his hard work ethic, makes him a well-rounded choice for the service writer role.
When you call into the Eide Ford Service Department, the service writer is the person who schedules your appointment, greets you when you arrive, and takes down all of your information. After the service technician inspects your vehicle, the service writer makes an estimate and communicates everything back to you, the customer.
Essentially, the service writer is the communication person between the service and parts technicians, and you.
Because this is the person interacting with our valued customers, we want to make sure the right people are in that role – people like Lee.
"He really cares about the customer and puts them first," Ryan says.
That's the experience we are confident you'll have each time you come into Eide Ford for service. Come see for yourself!
