Nate LaChance has been helping people find vehicles at Eide Ford for about 2-and-a-half years. Our team takes pride in providing a friendly environment for our customers, and LaChance brings valuable energy to the showroom here in Bismarck.
"I try to be as knowledgeable as I can, so I can deliver cars well. I like being the guy who people go to with questions," he said.
According to Nate, he's well equipped to handle those questions because of his fellow teammates.
"I'd say that I'm kind of the tip of the spear in that – if I start working with a client and they have questions that I can't answer – I've got decades of sales experience behind me. It's nice to be backed up by the other salesmen on this team."
Nate enjoys the variety and pace of the car business.
"No two days are the same here. It's great seeing people enjoying their new vehicles," said Nate. "It never gets boring."
"[Nate] is extremely hard working," said General Sales Manager Casey Neumann. "He's a loyal guy, and an absolutely great team member."
Casey also appreciates Nate's willingness to help out.
"He's the first guy to step in and help someone in need here at the store. It's not uncommon to see him running from one end of the store to another," said Casey. "Just last week, we needed another salesperson to cover an evening shift, and I asked him if he could step in, and he said 'absolutely' without a question. That's just the type of guy he is."
Q: How long have you been on the Eide Ford team?
Nate: I've been here for 2.5 years now.
Q: What do you enjoy about auto sales?
Nate: When I came here, I was brand new to the car business, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a really nice place. No two days are the same here. It's great seeing people enjoying their new vehicles. It never gets boring.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
Nate: I have two kids [daughter, 10, and son, 6] so they keep me busy. My daughter does horseback riding, and we like to take trips over the summer.
Q: What makes Eide Ford unique amongst the dealerships in Bismarck?
Nate: It's the kind of place where everybody knows your name. It's a friendly environment. We get people from all over Western North Dakota, and if they come in more than once, there's a good chance someone here will know your name when you come back in.
Q: What is the most common question (or type of question) you answer every day?
Nate: I would say people most commonly have questions about EcoBoost. People come in wanting to learn more about it.
Q: Is there anyone you would like to thank for the Salesman of the Month Award?
