New Sales Leadership Changes at Eide Ford

We are excited to announce the promotions of two staff members - welcome to your new positions, Jon Skinner and Ryan Hartl! 

The Eide Automotive Group strives to develop their staff internally, so that when a position opens up, we are able to promote from within our own organization. These two have shown immense growth and leadership skills through their time at Eide Ford, and we are excited to see them continue their careers in new positions in our sales management team!

Meet Jon

Jon joined our Eide family in 2021 as a sales consultant, and has been working in the automotive industry and selling cars since 2018. This July, he was promoted to Sales Floor Manager! 

Working as a sales consultant for 6 years, he has learned many things that will help him in this new position. “I am a big people person, and have loved being able to build strong relationships with my customers over the years. I am excited to be able to continue working with our sales staff on a daily basis, as well as our customers, and help them on a new level in their car buying experience.”

“We have created a work environment at Eide Ford that you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else, and I am so thankful to be a part of it,” says Jon. “There is never a dull moment, and I am always in good company, whether it is our sales team or being able to work with our customers.”

“Working in the automotive industry is so much fun, because it is different every day, and I love being able to talk with new people. As a sales person, I loved being able to help people get into vehicles they never thought they would be able to purchase, and I am excited to be able to help them on a new level as a sales manager.”

“I have learned so much in the past two months in this new position, and am excited to be able to continue this growth and learn how to do new things each day. It has been awesome to continue to work closely with our sales team and learn more about each of them, and how I can help them strengthen their own skills so that they can continue to be successful.”

In his free time, he likes to watch football, be outside on the river, and spend time with his wife and newborn daughter. 

“Through his time in sales, Jon has done a great job earning the respect of the people he works with, and has become a good mentor for our newer staff members when they join our team,” says Mike Wishek, General Sales Manager. “He always has a smile on his face and brings a good energy to our team, and he is always there to lend a helping hand to everyone. These traits have helped him in this new position of his, and we are excited to watch him continue to grow and thrive as Sales Floor Manager.”

Meet Ryan

Ryan joined our Eide family in 2020 as a sales consultant for 2 years, and then in March 2023 he rejoined our management team as Sales Floor Manager. On July 1st, 2024, he was then promoted to New Car Manager! 

Ryan has been working in the automotive industry since 2007, and he was also in the Army National Guard for 20 years. His experience with the industry and in leadership has allowed him to become an excellent manager and leader at Eide Ford. 

“The Eide Automotive Group truly has family values at heart, and you can tell how well it has affected the atmosphere, especially at Eide Ford,” Ryan says. “We spend a lot of time with each other, during some especially long work days, but you can tell that the people actually care about you and your life, and I am thankful to be a part of something so special.”

“I love being able to work with others, and being in sales for multiple years has helped me to develop many skills that have helped me transition into this new position as New Car Manager,” says Ryan. “I am always striving to learn new things and develop my knowledge, so that I can be a better manager for our customers and our sales staff. Plus, I was born and raised as a Ford kid, and I absolutely love the brand, and being able to work with Ford vehicles as my career.”

In his free time, he enjoys hunting, riding motorcycles and ATV’s, and spending time with his family. 

“Since becoming the new car manager, Ryan has worked extremely hard and spent several extra hours to learn and excel in his new role,” says Mike Wishek. “He has done an amazing job in these last few months, learning so much and then educating our staff on the new product lines, and our monthly specials so that they have all the tools to succeed.”
