New Leadership Changes at Eide Ford

We are extremely excited to announce many new leadership changes within our sales management team! 

This January, Josh Bitz, Ben Mayher, and Jordan Mewes, all took on new roles within management: 

• Josh Bitz: New Car Manager
• Ben Mayher: Internet Sales Manager
• Jordan Mewes: Assistant Finance Manager

Josh Bitz

Josh Bitz began working at Eide Ford in 2019 as a Delivery Coordinator. Then in May 2022, Josh moved to a Sales Consultant, and now in January 2024, he is now our New Car Manager! 

Born and raised in Bismarck, ND, Josh is a perfect fit for this position. He not only has a passion for cars and the automotive industry, he knows the area. This helped him as a Sales Consultant, enabling him to relate to his customers, and help put them into their next perfect vehicle. And now, he has the opportunity to help our current sales staff grow! 

“I like working in sales because I love meeting new people, taking care of my customers, and every day is different, meaning I get to learn something new every day,” says Josh. 

“I love working at Eide Ford because of the people,” Josh says. “Everyone feels like family. I have built many strong friendships throughout my time spent here. I also get to meet new people and customers, leading to many new networking opportunities.” 

This promotion from Sales Consultant to New Car Manager is a big step in Josh’s career. “I am very excited for this opportunity. I have already learned so much, and every day I am learning more. And it allows me to advance within the automotive industry, as well as develop and grow as a person.”

“There are many people I would like to thank for helping me to get to where I am today: Jesse Schuchard, Adam Griffith, Kim Dvorak, Mike Wishek, Deno Muller, Jamie Jeter, and Ryne Balzer. Throughout the years, they have all helped me to grow and develop not only as a Sales Consultant, but as a person. I was never afraid to ask questions, because they answered them every time; this has not stopped as I move into my new role. Not only are they all role models, they are my friends, and I am extremely thankful for all of them.”

“We are very excited to add Josh to our Sales Management team,” says Mike Wishek, General Sales Manager. “I think he will continue to do a good job in his new position, especially with the amount of new car knowledge he has, since he is fresh off of the sales floor. He will be able to teach our staff and help out our customers that come in. We are extremely excited to see how he is able to grow in this new position and as a leader within our management team.”

In his free time, Josh likes to go fishing, motorcycle, hang out with friends and family, and travel.  

Jordan Mewes

Jordan Mewes began working at Eide Ford in 2022 as a Sales Consultant, and was promoted to Assistant Finance Manager in December of 2023! 

Jordan liked working in sales because he got to meet new people, and help them get into a new vehicle. 

“I am excited to work in finance because not only is it a new position, it is a new opportunity that allows me to grow,” says Jordan. “Being able to move up within Eide Ford is a big step to help me grow both personally and professionally.”

“I like working at Eide Ford because we are all taken care of, and management is always helping us to grow. And, the work environment is great; I really enjoy being able to work with the people I do.” 

In his free time, Jordan likes to travel, spend time outside, and go to the beach. 

“Jordan is doing great in his transition to the Finance Department,” says Ryne Balzer, Finance Director. “We are looking forward to him being an asset to our team, being able to assist with day to day tasks to help our department be more efficient. It has been a pleasure to work with him; he is a very happy-go-lucky guy and brings a great energy to our department. I am very excited to see Jordan’s continuous growth in the future.”

Ben Mayher

Ben Mayher started at Eide Ford as a salesman in 2016, and moved into finance in 2019. After 4 years as a business manager, he became the Finance Director in 2022. He then spent 5 months as our New Car Manager, and as of January 1, Ben became our Internet Sales Manager! 

This new position means new job duties and responsibilities. As Internet Sales Manager, Ben will be working more hands on with our sales staff, ensuring our customers are always well taken care of at all steps of the car buying process. 

“I enjoy working at Eide Ford because the work environment is something unlike everywhere else,” Ben says. “It’s fun and fast paced, so you’re always on your toes. We have been able to create a good team atmosphere, and we all look forward to seeing our team mates succeed and grow everyday.”

“Working in this industry ensures that each day is different. We are presented with new opportunities and situations that we get to work together as a team to help our customers and each other. It’s super fun to see the growth not only within myself, but in all of our employees.”

“I am extremely thankful for the opportunities that Eide has given me. I have been able to build a career here, and grow both professionally and personally. And, our team here is a family; even when we are busy, we are always able to have fun together.”

In his spare time, he likes to play softball, golf, go hunting, and spend time with his family. 

“Ben has done a good job in every position he’s held,” says Mike Wishek, General Sales Manager. “When he was on the Internet Sales Team in the past, he was very successful. His knowledge easily translates and is a huge addition to the sales office now; He brings great advice, knowledge, and experience to our current sales team. We are extremely excited to watch Ben’s growth and the growth of the Internet Sales Team under his leadership.”

We are extremely excited to have this major shift within our management team. Josh, Jordan, and Ben all add new perspectives, experiences, and leadership to our sales team.
