Meet our New Finance Director, Chris Hill!

The Eide Automotive Group prides ourselves on promoting from within, so our staff can grow in their careers and develop their skills. We strive to develop our employees to aid in their growth not only professionally, but also personally. 

One great example of this is our new Finance Director, Chris Hill! Chris joined our Eide Ford family in 2013, as a Sales Consultant. After 7 years in sales, Chris was promoted to Business Manager in September 2020. Chris was promoted to Finance Director on January 1, 2025. 

“My favorite thing about working at Eide Ford has been watching the Eide Automotive Group grow through the years, and be a part of the growth. I know that I made the best decision of my life coming to work at Eide Ford, and being able to continuously grow in my career, and to see others around me grow is extremely rewarding,” says Chris.

“Finance can be challenging, but I love it,” Chris says. “There is no better feeling than being able to accomplish a lot in one day, and helping our customers get into their dream vehicle. We have created an amazing environment within our department - everyone brings something different to the table, and we work together to ensure that our store and our customers are well taken care of.”

As Chris steps into this new role as Finance Director, he will get to take on many new responsibilities within his department. “I will work hard to help our department continue to grow, and support our other business managers. I am excited to bring more people in and share my years of experience with them, to help them to grow, and see them succeed.”

“There are many people I would like to thank for helping me get to this place in my career. I would like to thank both Jesse Schuchard and Frandella Martin for being mentors, and Jesse Peterson, who I have learned a lot from. I would also like to thank all of the other General Managers at our other Eide locations, Ryne Balzer, Adam Griffith, Jory Ditsworth, and Don Pask, for being great leaders and people who I know I can always turn to.”

In his spare time, Chris likes to travel, especially by taking road trips, grill, and spend time with his family. 

“Chris is a great example of the growth opportunity available at Eide,” says Jesse Schuchard, General Manager. “He started in sales and really worked hard to master his craft with great customer service and product knowledge. When he got an opportunity to advance his career, he didn’t disappoint. He carried those strong skills into the finance department. He’s been a great teammate and leader. I’m proud of what Chris brings to the organization.”
