Meet Mike Lewis, Detail Manager!

Meet our Detail Manager at Eide Ford Lincoln, Mike Lewis! 

Mike started working in the automotive industry in 2001, and then joined our Eide family as a sales consultant at Eide Ford in 2007. He was promoted to Sales Manager in 2008, and then the Accessories Manager in 2010. After 11 years as accessories manager, Mike became the Detail Manager in 2021. 

The detail department is responsible for cleaning and detailing all new and sold vehicles, as well as photographing all vehicles for the website, and doing all PDI’s for vehicles that just arrived after shipping. 

Since Mike took over as detail manager, they have doubled their productivity. “We are always busy, and each day is different,” says Mike. “We have a solid team, and we trust each other, enabling us to be more productive and faster, so we can fulfill the need for our dealership and our customers.” 

“As the detail manager, I make sure that everything gets done as fast and efficiently as possible,” Mike says. “I am very detail oriented, and want everything done correctly the first time, so I do everything to keep the system running smoothly. I enjoy keeping everyone busy, and doing the dispatching, as well as seeing the transition from the before and after of a dirty to clean car.”

“I love to work with our staff and watch them grow and learn. We have a great team here, and the trust that they have in me reassures me that I am doing something right with them.”

Mike grew up in the automotive industry, with his father being part owner of McCarney Ford, which was the building Allen Eide purchased in 1981, when he opened Eide Ford Lincoln!  

“I would like to say a special thank you to Jesse Peterson and Jesse Schuchard, for giving me the opportunity to grow in a career that I love,” says Mike. “I would also like to thank my team, for all of their hard work and dedication, and to my family, for understanding the car business, and supporting me throughout my career.”

In his free time, Mike likes to spend time with family, friends, and his dogs, travel, and anything cooking! He enjoys smoking, grilling, and experimenting with different foods.
