Meet Eide Ford’s New General Sales Manager: Mike Wishek!

Eide Ford continues to show growth within its leadership, and we are excited to share this promotion with you. 

The Eide Organization prides itself on promoting from within, and Mike is just one of the many examples that exemplifies that. 

As of May 1, 2023, Mike Wishek is Eide Ford’s new General Sales Manager! 

Meet Mike Wishek 

Mike began working at Eide Ford in 2013. For 6 years, he was one of the top Salesmen, and his hard work paid off when he became one of our Finance Managers in 2018. Then in 2020, Mike was promoted to Internet Sales Manager, and then quickly the next year became New Car Manager. And now after two years as a Sales Manager at Eide Ford, Mike steps into the role as General Sales Manager.

“The family atmosphere at Eide Ford is something very unique,” says Mike. “Everyone cares about each other, and wants to see you grow in every way you can. I get to work with my friends every day, and each day brings something different.”

In his spare time, Mike likes to go to his cabin, spend time outdoors at the lake, fishing, and hunting, and spending time with his wife and son. 

Growth

Eide Ford had been without a GSM since January, but has not lacked leadership. 

Mike stepped up every day to fill the needs within the sales department, and continued to do so humbly everyday. Although it was not an easy role to take on, he did it with a smile on his face, and because of Mike we have seen tremendous growth within the first half of 2023. 

Personal and professional growth is something that the Eide Automotive Group wants to see for all employees within the organization, and provides employees with the tools and opportunities to succeed and achieve their goals. This is something that Mike shared that helped him to gather the skills and knowledge to fill the General Sales Manager position successfully. 

Not only has Mike had a great influence on the dealership itself, but also on individual salespeople as well. Josh Bitz, one of our Salesmen at Eide Ford, looks up to Mike as both a mentor and friend. “Mike is a great teacher who provides guidance to his whole team. Not only is he knowledgeable about the automotive industry, he is also hardworking and approachable, making working with him fun and easy. I am extremely thankful for all he has done for me, and I am excited to be a part of the continuous growth at Eide Ford with Mike as head of the sales department.”

In the 10 years that Mike has worked at Eide Ford, there has been a lot of growth and change within the organization itself. “Being a part of a group that continues to grow has been something super cool to see and be a part of,” Mike says. “I always get to meet new people, both customers and staff, and getting to work with the sales staff and being able to watch them progress in their careers is amazing. I look forward to being a part of the continued growth of the organization for many years to come.”

“Mike is a great leader to take on this new role,” says Don Pask, General Manager at Eide Chrysler. “He has spent 10 years working in every position and at multiple stores gathering great experience and the skills needed to do a fantastic job in this new position. This is another example of Eide growing our people from within and I am so excited to see him have massive success in the years to come.”
