Eide Ford Employee of the Month

We don't just want to be the place for your next oil change. At Eide Ford Lincoln, our goal is to be there for you during your whole life as a driver.

In our Service Department, we push each other to provide excellent service to every customer who stops by at our store here on the Expressway.

We do that by setting high standards, and making sure everyone on the team can learn from the best - like our March Employee of the Month, Service Technician Weston Burning Breast.

In March, Weston reached 4 years with Eide Ford Lincoln. According to him, those years have flown.

"It's a busy job but I love it," said Weston. "I'm just grateful to be here."

Weston's supervisor, Parts & Service Director Ryan Else, is also glad he's here.

"He's always willing to jump in and try a new project," Else added. "He really understands the electronic components of the newer cars, and if you can get that, you can do most other types of repairs."

Service Technician at Eide Ford

Eide Ford's Employee of the Month for April 2017

What do you like about your job at Eide Ford?

Weston: I really enjoy diagnosing electrical things on the newer cars, and figuring out what's wrong with the ones that come in. The technology is always changing.

What makes Eide a great place to get car or truck service in Bismarck?

Weston: The people who work here are great. Everyone on the team, including the management, are all willing to help out.

The managers are always willing to send the technicians to training to keep us updated on every new vehicle.

What is your specialty in the Service Department?

Weston: I would say the electrical part. I really like diagnosing and working with the different modules in every car and seeing how they communicate with each other.

What made you want to become a technician?

Weston: I grew up on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, and I knew that I needed to keep myself busy after I graduated high school. A few months after high school, I found out that being an automotive technician was a very good career to go into. You'll always be needed.  I went to UTI in Phoenix, and got my Ford Certifications. After I graduated, I applied and Eide Ford and they hired me.

Who would you like to thank for this award?

Weston: I want to thank all the service managers for the recognition. I also want to thank everyone who helped me get to where I am now.
