Meet Mike
General Sales Manager Jesse Schuchard says Mike was nominated because of his outstanding sales performance in February.
"He's just doing a great job. It takes a long time to learn the ins and outs of being a good salesperson. Sometimes there are hard spots with new hires, but he's caught on to that real quick. He has a great work ethic," said Jesse. "He sold 22 cars in February, which was his first month on the internet sales team. His workload actually increased, and it was good to see the sales that came along with it."
Thank you Mike, for being willing to put your customers first!
Mike Adkins
Sales Manager
Eide Ford's Employee of the Month for February 2019
Q: How long have you been at the dealership?
I started in September of 2018, so right around six months.
Q: Eide Ford is known for its hassle-free sales process. What is the best part of your role in it?
It's been great, and I really enjoy the folks I get to work with. Eide does business in a great way here, and it's nice to be able to help people out when they're searching around for their next vehicle.
Q: Why are so many people so loyal to Eide Ford?
I think it's our transparency and our honesty. We try to make it a fun car buying experience. Our process has been put in place to make sure that it happens. That's what people want. They just want honesty. We do have some of the best prices around. There's a reason I'm selling trucks to people from places like Michigan and Colorado.
Q: What do you drive, and what will your next vehicle be?
That's a great question. I'm driving a 1997 Ford F-150 which my dad ordered new from a dealership. He ordered it from Dean Stallings Ford in Oak Ridge, Tenn. When the time comes, I'm probably going to lease a
new F-150 XLT.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
I like to spend time hunting and fishing, and just being outdoors. I'm also into pistol and long rifle shooting. Previous to this, I was a deputy sheriff in Nebraska, and I was in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007. My dad was also a distinguished shooter.
Q: What is happening at Eide Ford this month?
The
new EcoSport has also been a popular choice here since the beginning of the year. I recently had an e
lderly couple come in and upgrade their small car to the EcoSport with all-wheel drive. It's also a good option for younger folks, because you can fit four people and get the features you want. It's a good deal. We have new ones for just over $21,000 here.
Mike also wanted to thank the team for nominating him to be the employee of the month.
