Eide Ford's Employee of the Month is Josh Bitz

Meet Josh

General Sales Manager, Jesse Schuchard, says Josh is well deserving of this month’s award:

"Josh is always looking for something to do, and he’s never afraid to help out where he’s needed,” said Schuchard. “He’s a smart guy. He picks up things pretty quickly.”

When asked about why Josh was picked for the award this month, Jesse noted the additional responsibilities Josh has taken on for the team.

“In addition to helping new customers get to know the features on their new Fords, Josh has been helping out with new and used vehicle descriptions on our website. He’s also making sure the lot is cleaned up. He just jumped right in and started taking care of it.”

Eide Ford's Employee of the Month for May 2019

Q: How long have you been with Eide Ford?

I started here about three-and-a-half months ago. I just graduated from high school, and I’m here to get some experience before I head to college.

Q: What are your main responsibilities at Eide Ford?

I’m a delivery coordinator, which means I spend most of my time showing new customers how to get the most from the features on their new Fords and Lincolns. I’m also making sure we have the best information available for each vehicle on our website, and I also spend a lot of time cleaning up our lot here in Bismarck.

Q: What is the most challenging part of your job?

It’s actually very easy and fun for me. The most challenging part, though, is when a customer is trying to download the Ford app, and can’t remember their password for the app store. Other than that, it’s always a smooth process here. I talk through the important features on the vehicle and make sure they’re comfortable with everything before they take it home.

Q: What do you drive?

I have a Ford Focus RS which has the 2.3L EcoBoost from the Mustang, but with just a little more torque. It’s a fun car.

Q: What is your favorite feature on the new vehicles at Eide Ford?

The responsiveness of the touch screen is far superior to other makes. The overall ease of understanding of the features. Other brands have a lot going on the touch screen, but the Ford one is simple to understand.

Q: You just graduated from high school. What is your next step?  

I just graduated from Legacy High School and am planning to attend University of Mary this fall. I’m majoring in computer science with an emphasis on cyber security.
