When it comes to titling, accounting work, and a score of other administrative challenges, Eide Ford Lincoln is lucky to have talent and experience like Carrie Edison working behind the scenes.

Carrie has been with the dealership since 1995, and she's still impressing us - as she did last month, earning her place as the September employee of the month.

Stepping Up to Get the Job Done

When the deals are as good as they were last month (or this month, hint hint), it makes sense that the store gets more hectic.

And when things started to move fast, Carrie stepped up. Even though our administrative team was short-handed with such a rush to close September, Carrie was right there to hold things together.

"Going into the last week it really picked up," she says. "It was definitely busier that week."

But Carrie picked up the slack and kept everything moving - helping to make sure you could get your new Fords.

"It was all stuff I knew how to do anyhow," she says.

Trust us, she's being modest.

September EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH: Carrie Edison

What do you like about working at Eide Ford?

Carrie: Probably the people that I work with on a daily basis. Our controller allows us to be pretty flexible, and he's accommodating of different schedules. Plus, being interested in vehicles makes it even better.

Why is Eide Ford different from other Bismarck dealerships?

Carrie: For starters, I'm just partial to the Fords, to this manufacturer. But the way our sales department works with customers to get them the exact right fit, going out of the way to find that particular unit. That's something.

What is your favorite Ford vehicle

Carrie: I'm partial to the Explorers, but obviously the F-150s are great, too.

How do you spend your free time?

Carrie: Spending time with family and friends.

Who would you like to thank for this award?

Carrie: The managers who voted for me for it, and my coworkers.

What has changed most in the auto world since you started

Carrie: Before everything was processed manually, and now the use of computers is integral to our work. Also our marketing efforts, posting online, on social media, have made a huge difference in getting people here.
