Eide Teams Up With Local Businesses To Support Toys For Tots

As the Christmas holiday is approaching, Eide teamed up with Mattress Firm, Aesthetic Dental Center, Big River Builders, Marvelous Mouse Travels, 2 Vets Moving Company, and Walmart, to help save Christmas!

This year, these local businesses joined together to donate over $23,000 worth of toys for Toys for Tots. 

Toys for Tots in Bismarck, ND helps families in the community, giving children the opportunity to have a wonderful Christmas. 

Over the course of three days, we shopped at each of the local Walmart stores in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

It has always been important to us that we help out our community, in any way we can. 

Helping out the community is very important to Jesse Peterson, the dealer principal at Eide. He said that “as a part of the community, we need to give back. We want to find the best causes and the best things to get involved with, and Toys for Tots is one of the best ones, especially around the holiday season.”

Jason Sellers, the owner/managing partner of Mattress Firm, spoke to why he got involved with this project. “It is important to support Toys for Tots because it gives so many kids the opportunity to open presents on Christmas morning, and it's amazing to think that these kids are going to wake up and have the opportunity to have a great toy.” 

We also talked to Tim Morris, the general manager of Walmart, about why Walmart was excited to get involved. “There’s nothing better than a kid having something to open up on Christmas and being able to see the smile on their face. We are happy we could help this organization the way we did.”
