Eide Summer Softball - 2023 Edition

We had two Eide Ford softball teams in play this summer, dominating many tournaments. 

We had a Class C team and a Rec 3 team.

These teams played games each week, as well as participated in many tournaments in North Dakota, as well in other states throughout the summer. 

Our Rec 3 team was made up of many employees from Eide Ford and Eide Ford Mandan, as well as some close friends. This year, they won the Beat the Heat tournament in their division. Ben Mayher, New Car Manager at Eide Ford, even participated in the Home Run Derby.

“We had a lot of good times this summer with all the guys,” says Deno Muller, Used Car Manager at Eide Ford Mandan. “It was super fun to get together and play the game we love.”

“I really enjoyed hanging out with coworkers and getting to know the new guys on our team this summer,” says Ben Mayher, New Car Manager at Eide Ford. 

Our Class C team is sponsored by Eide, and Jesse Schuchard, General Manager at Eide Ford, is one of their key members. This year, they won the King of the Spring C/D tournament, and are the 2023 State C Champs. They will even travel to Las Vegas, NV in October to play in a tournament out there! 

“Eide has been a great sponsor for a number of years,” says Jesse Schuchard, General Manager of Eide Ford. “We’ve been lucky enough to put together a competitive team and do well in some bigger tournaments. We are extremely excited to compete in Vegas; it will be cool to represent the Eide name on a large scale.”

We are very glad to have been able to sponsor two softball teams again this year. Our employees are able to have some friendly competition and play a sport that they enjoy.
