EIDE FORD AND EIDE CHRYSLER RAISE $18,400 FOR THE BISMARCK CANCER CENTER

Last month wasn’t a typical month for Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler as we joined nationwide and local Bismarck efforts to raise money and support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For several years, Eide Ford has supported the Bismarck community during October by partnering with the Bismarck Cancer Center, a local organization that assists patients with their cancer treatments. With the addition of Eide Chrysler to the Eide organization this year, we supported the Bismarck Cancer Center more than ever before.

With two car dealerships working together to raise money for the Bismarck Cancer Center, President and Managing Partner Jesse Peterson of Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler knew this would be a record breaking month.

Jesse says he wanted October 2017 to be something more than years past.

 “I had a feeling this was going to be a special year for the Bismarck Cancer Center, knowing our dealerships would work hard to make a bigger difference than ever."

Not only was it a record month in sales for both dealerships, Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler did something even more. In the past, the organization would donate $25 per car sold for the month of October. This year, Jesse decided to double that contribution to $50 per car sold for both dealerships.

In total for the month of October, Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler raised $18,400 for the Bismarck Cancer Center.

The Bismarck Cancer Center received a check from the Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler teams during a presentation ceremony.

“That day everyone from both stores felt terrific about the contribution. This was very personal for many people including myself and we’re very happy to help," Jesse says.

Breast Cancer has likely affected everyone in one way or another --  from someone who’s been diagnosed to someone who’s gone through treatment or passed away. We all know someone who’s had to battle with cancer.
