Each month at Eide Ford, we select one team member as Employee of the Month. This is someone who goes out of their way to do something that not many others are willing to do, is always looking out for the entire team and all customers, and embodies the Eide Philosophy.
Lot Manager Curtis Sheelar is our Employee of the Month for November 2018!
One of the important pieces of the Eide Philosophy is to make the car buying experience simple, fast, and fun.
Jesse Schuchard, the General Sales Manager at Eide Ford, says that Curtis was nominated because he takes care of a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that you don't notice unless it's done incorrectly.
"Having a guy like Curtis is an enormous advantage that we have as employees-and customers-of Eide Ford," said Jesse. "We are extremely lucky to have an employee like him."

Eide Ford's Employee of the Month for November 2018
Q: How long have you been at the dealership?
I started in the wash bay sometime around 2000 or 2001.
Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?
I usually get here around 7 a.m., usually here early, and then I stay here til 5:30 p.m. I'm in charge of taking care of used cars, so I get those cars into service and then take them to the bodyshop or send them to cleanup. We also take care of running them to other dealers for retail or warranty work. My team helps me out a lot with all of that!
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
The people I get to work with. They're pretty decent and fun, and pretty easy to get along with. I have good people above me, good people below me, good people all around.
Q: What do you drive and what's your dream vehicle?
My real dream vehicle is a helicopter, but I never really made that happen :) I use a truck as a truck, so I don't need anything extra special. I'm happy with my 2017 Ford F-150.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
I hang out with family. We try to spend a lot of time with the kids and grandkids, and in the fall I help my brother-in-law harvest. I also do a lot of fishing and hunting.
Q: Why is Eide Ford a great place to do business?
We’ve won the President’s Award for 3 years in a row, and that means we’re doing pretty good service and our prices must be right, we’re always in the top of the charts for new sales and even used. We have customers that even come from South Dakota and Montana, so people must think we’re giving them a good deal and being friendly at the same time.
