What's black and white and red all over?

No. It's not a newspaper (as the joke goes). It's our most popular color chart from 2015!

We took a look back at our records and found the most popular exterior colors for the new and used vehicles our team sold in 2015. 

White and black dominated this year with around 20% each, followed by red (15.9% of sales), blue (11.8%), silver (10.1%) and gray (9.9%). 

One big trend in 2015 was the re-emergence of bronze vehicles (3.5%) thanks to Ford's new "Bronze Fire Metallic" which is available on several new models. 

The most diverse category in this chart is blue, which ranges from Ford's brilliant Blue Flame down to dark shades such as the Blue Granite color seen on some Chevys in our pre-owned inventory.

Here are the most popular colors we sold in 2015: 

• White: 20.9%
• Black: 20.1%
• Red: 15.9%
• Blue: 11.8%
• Silver: 10.1%
• Gray: 9.9%
• Bronze: 3.5%
• Green: 3.0%
• Brown: 2.5%
• Tan: 1.52%
• Yellow: 0.5%
• Orange: 0.3%
• Purple: 0.1%

While Ford makes some sharp greens and browns, these colors still have a ways to go to catch up to the popularity good 'ol black and white.
