Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women, with nearly 250,000 cases diagnosed every year in the United States.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler worked together to raise donations for the Bismarck Cancer Center, and we’re excited to say we’ll be donating $23,000.
It’s become a tradition over the past 10 years at our Bismarck Eide stores to raise funds for the Bismarck Cancer Center. Throughout October, we set aside $50 for every vehicle sold or leased.
“It’s extra motivation for our team to do a good job in October,” Eide vice president and managing partner Jesse Peterson said. “Everyone knows we’re going to be able to substantially impact a local organization and help a lot of people. It adds a fun element to October because of that.”
Bismarck-Mandan is our home, and we look forward to giving back to those in our community. The Bismarck Cancer Center offers radiation therapy services, as well as support to families of those undergoing treatment.
It’s not just radiology that the Bismarck Cancer Center offers, though. They also help families with financial counseling, emotional support, transportation to treatment, temporary housing, and even calming treatments such as yoga and equine therapy.
All of this is especially important in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has put pressure on our healthcare workers and patients.
“With COVID challenges, it’s nice to be able to make an even bigger impact, “ Peterson said.
We couldn’t make these donations without your support. Thank you to all of our customers for helping us give back our community.
We’d encourage everyone to learn more about the Bismarck Cancer Center and the important work they do!
