Employees from Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler scrubbed local cars alongside players and staff from the Bismarck Larks and Bismarck Bobcats organizations on Friday. Proceeds from the event exceeded $20,000 for Bismarck Public Schools.
The Eide dealerships pledged to match all free-will donations, and they also surprised the community with a $20,000 check, which was presented to the school system at that evening’s Larks game.
“The car wash is just a great way for our team to come together and serve the community,” said Jesse Peterson, president and general manager of Eide Chrysler. “It was a great opportunity to work with the Larks and the Bobcats, and we were able to have some fun at the same time.”
The event coincided with Eide’s annual Employee Appreciation event. After the car wash at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, Eide employees enjoyed free food and drinks while watching the Larks take on the Bull Moose.
“Our team works very hard to serve our customers at both Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler. This is a way we can reward them, and also support the community with the car wash on the same day. It’s just a way for us to celebrate and to relax in a setting outside of work,” said Peterson. “Plus, we get to enjoy something that most of our employees and their families enjoy – Larks baseball.”
This community really is special, and that’s why Eide Chrysler and Eide Ford always strive to be involved in local events. Plus, when we’re out and about in Bismarck, we get to know our customers even better!
