Throughout our lifetime, we all know at least one person who has been diagnosed with cancer. Cancer affects many in our community, so we decided to do something about it.
During the month of October, Eide Chrysler and Eide Ford donated $50 to the Bismarck Cancer Center for every vehicle sold, for a grand total of $22,100!
Helping How We Can
For several years, the Eide organization has been partnering with the Bismarck Cancer Center to help treat those in our community. Over the years, we have raised over $125,000!
“We have seen first hand our own employees battle cancer, and how the Bismarck Cancer Center has helped make an impact on their lives, and we wanted to give back,” said Jesse Peterson, our dealer principal.
It is important to us to give back to the community however we can. Jesse Schuchard, the General Manager at Eide Ford, spoke on this: “It feels really good to give to such a worthy cause in the Bismarck-Mandan area. This partnership with the Bismarck Cancer Center allows us to play our part in our community.”
About the Bismarck Cancer Center
The Bismarck Cancer Center has been supporting the Bismarck-Mandan community since 1999, and treats patients within a 250 mile radius.
Although they are a radiation treatment facility, they also offer numerous services to their patients, and they are constantly looking to expand their services to better serve their patients. Some of the services include:
We asked Sara Kelsch, the marketing director for the Bismarck Cancer Center, how the donated money will help: “The funds donated go towards our wrap-around services for the patients we treat. We aim to treat the patient, not just the cancer.”
“We couldn’t be more grateful to partner with Eide, and we look forward to a long partnership in the future” - Sara Kelsch.
It is because of you, our customers, that we have been able to donate over $22,000 this year. Thank you, loyal Bismarck customers!
