Car Washes for a Cause: Clark's Car Wash Fundraiser with Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler

We started our 4th of July weekend on Friday the 2nd when both Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler’s teams helped volunteer and match donations for Clark’s Car Wash alongside the Bismarck Larks baseball team. 

135 vehicles came to Bismarck Municipal Ballpark that Friday afternoon for a free car wash and the chance to donate to a great cause. The Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler dealerships matched every donation from the car wash, meaning for every $5 donated through the car wash, the Eide dealerships together donated $10. 

In one afternoon of washing the vehicles of the Bismarck-Mandan community as well as the matched donations, we raised $4,300! 

This money is all going directly to the United Way organization, a group currently working on projects such as providing clean water and sanitation facilities to low-income schools, as well as helping make sure today’s students stay on track for graduation. 

"Working with the Clark's to help United Way is one of the summer highlights for Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler. We had several employees volunteer their time to help wash cars and have fun to support a great cause. Helping out in the community is one thing we always enjoy and take great pride in," said General Manager Jesse Schuchard, who volunteered at the car wash.
